The registration of your company is a process you would like to be handled swiftly and to be done well. Choosing an organisation to handle the registration is very important. Below are the requirements for the registration of your company.
SELECT PACKAGE

The first step in registering your business would be to select your package from the list of CCFBA packages

COMPANY NAME CHOICES

The next step is to come up with four possible names. These names should be different from each other and unique from any of the well known brands that are in operation. The use of punctuations is not allowed in the name. Ensure that the names you have chosen have the correct spelling as it will cost more to change it at a later stage.

DIRECTOR INFORMATION

This step is probably the most important of step. Deciding whom to go into business with is very important for the success of the business.

IDENTITY DOCUMENTS / PASSPORTS

The Identity Document/Passport is an essential need for the registration of a company, preferably a certified copy maybe submitted. If the company has more than one partner, then all directors should submit their Identity Documents or Passports. The parties may submit a South African citizen Identity Document or a non citizen South African Identity Document. If you do not possess the mentioned documents, please enquire to see alternatives.

RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES

A proof of address is required for the registration of the business. If Address is the same as the one specified in the ID, then you may provide a letter from the ward council stating that you leave there. If address is different from the one stated on the ID, then submit a letter from the ward council with the current address. A valid proof of address from landlord or agency may be accepted.

BUSINESS ADDRESS (NOT COMPULSARY)

A lease agreement of the current business premises can be submitted. The lease must state that the premises is for business puroposes and should have the name of any director. If operating from the premises of residence, please stipulate clearly in the application form. If the premises is being shared or sub-leased, please provide supporting documentation.
